New Bassist
Te’ will officially announce matsuda (WRENCH, strobo) as the band’s new bassist. Please welcome matsuda and te’ as the band enters their new era.

Also, new dates have been confirmed.

Important announcement from te’
te’s bassist masa will no longer be a part of the band after the December dates. Both the band and staff sat down to discuss this topic, but came to conclude that it is in the band’s best interest to respect masa’s decision to leave the band.

As for te’s future plans, the band will continue on and will search for a new bassist.
Future dates and news regard new bassist will be announced on this website and newsletter.

Below is message from masa.

I, masa, have decided to leave te’ as of 2010.

Although there are many reasons for this decision, each one does not account itself as a reason, but after considering my current physical and mental status, I felt that it is very disrespectful of me to make music and come out in front of all the fans that support the band.

I would like to note that the reason is not due to any dissention amongst the members. It is a friendly leave.
From start of te’ and Zankyo Record in 2004 to meeting new artists and supporting staff members, everything that has happened to me in the past 6 years was a blessing for me. There were a lot of painful memories and regrettable moments, but I must admit that the 6 years was the most exciting and stimulating times, next to nothing. I was able to grow as an individual through all these experience and all the memories shall live on inside of me.
te’ will continue on and so will my life. It is my hope that all our fans could love and support both paths.

Also, I would like to express my deepest regrets that I had to announce this at a sudden call, and would like to apologize to all of our fans who have supported us. Thank you for allowing me to take part as a member of an instrumental band.
I would also like to give a big shout out to the staff and friends who have supported my presence.
Finally, I would like to give the biggest thanks to my fellow members who allowed me to take part in making te’s music.
